Yoruba Salt
Yoruba Salt, (-1554, -1471) was a merchant in Bambandyanalo.
Yoruba believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived an opulent life, owning more than she could actually assess on even spend, including houses and fancy goods. She owned very precious, unique art pieces in a private collection. The legend says that she could buy anything in the world if she wanted to. As a noble, she had a strong power over most of the society. Anyone tried to gain their favors. She was seen as a true poet, and legends says that she couldn't live without reading and writing. Years after, some of the works Yoruba made are still enjoyed and sometimes studied. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health. She was iron-willed, achieving any goal she set.
Yoruba, 14 years old, was chosen to be the new leader of the family. However, she was too young for now and was raised by a friend of the family.
Aged 16, Yoruba, 16 years old, merchant, became the new leader of the family.
In the year -1526, Yoruba decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. On the next full moon, Yoruba began to save money for the future. The same day, Yoruba spend time to flatter the powerful.
Aged 37, Yoruba invested time and efforts into a special craft : a nice abacus. People admired her for this work and Yoruba decided to keep it as a family treasure. The same day, Yoruba created a tradition of an annual family meeting. On the first day of the month after, Yoruba fell in love with Gwafa, an average looking man, 29 years old, a fisher. Both married and lived together from now on.
A little while after, Yoruba got pregnant, and gave birth to a beautiful boy named Abeo.
In the year -1507, Yoruba spent time and wealth to improve her living space. Now it was much more comfortable, and beautiful. The same day, Yoruba baked the perfect food. On the first day of the month after, Yoruba had nightmares.
A little while after, Yoruba got pregnant, and gave birth to a beautiful girl named Mansa.
In the year -1496, Yoruba spent time socializing with people in Bambandyanalo. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). The same day, Yoruba accepted to shelter a travelling family for a few weeks.
8 years later, Yoruba wanted to strenghten the family. She took the family treasure : the abacus and decided to use it daily so its power diffused into her actions. Having such a treasure everyday boosted a bit little her morale and her will. Soon after, Yoruba learned to use a ship.
At the age of 73, Yoruba decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Volubilis, in Africa : a beautiful city of stone in the middle of a green country, the capital of a berber kingdom. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and she made some business. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. A little while after, Yoruba dug a well. At the same time, Yoruba was striken by an unknown disease for several months.
Aged 83, Yoruba spent time and money for the people that needed help. Soon after, Yoruba became a criminal and kidnapped someone for a ransom. At the same time, Yoruba was robbed in a street of Bambandyanalo during a dark night.
Yoruba died of a stroke.
