Apunanwu Salt

Apunanwu Salt, (253, 332) was a merchant in Carthage.

Apunanwu believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.

She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She had a refined culture, and was known to read, and sometimes write, for pleasure. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was considered strong-willed, a leader at heart.

Apunanwu, 32 years old, merchant, became the new leader of the family.

In the year 292, Apunanwu needed more love in her life and began to flirt around. Apunanwu had a passionate affair with Lweendo, an ugly man, 32 years old, a jester. A bastard child came out of this short lived love. It was an adorable girl named Sekhmakh. Apunanwu had no choice but to adopt Sekhmakh who became part of the family from now on. Later, Apunanwu slept with a lover that broke her heart. Nine months after, Apunanwu was disgusted by the politics in Carthage.

In the year 307, Apunanwu spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. A few weeks later, Apunanwu had nightmares.

15 years later, Apunanwu spent time socializing with people in Carthage. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). At the same time, Apunanwu spend some time talking with a traveler. Half a year later, Apunanwu had mental issues, and became an arsonist.

In the year 332, Apunanwu decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Istanbul / Constantinople / Byzantium, in Central Asia : a beautiful, cultural and trade oriented city on the bosphorus strait. The travel was fascinating, and she learned many things on the road. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. Later, Apunanwu payed a long due debt. At the same time, Apunanwu fell in love with Ilozumba, a beautiful man, 36 years old, a porter. Both married and lived together from now on.

Apunanwu died of exhaustion after a normal day of work.
