Patrick Monopthalmosson

Patrick Monopthalmosson, (1262, 1339) was a jester in Edinburgh.

Patrick believed in Shamanism.

He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He was considered as a worker, belonging to the laborer caste of the society. He had struggles in accessing safe and well payed jobs and businesses. However, he made many friends. He had a refined culture, and was known to read, and sometimes write, for pleasure. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was iron-willed, achieving any goal he set.

Patrick, 36 years old, jester, became the new leader of the family.

8 years later, Patrick needed more love in his life and began to flirt around. Patrick had a passionate affair with Deirdre, an ugly woman, 36 years old, a seaman. A bastard child came out of this short lived love. It was a beautiful boy named Pedro. Patrick had no choice but to adopt Pedro who became part of the family from now on. Nine months after, Patrick had to fight in a war and came back injured. A few days later, Patrick fell in love with Annelise, a stunning woman, 28 years old, a toolmaker. Both married and lived together from now on.

Nine months after, Annelise got pregnant, and gave birth to an ugly girl named Alda.

In the year 1321, Patrick spent time socializing with people in Prague. He made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). Nine months after, Patrick was driven away from Prague for being different. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave him a recommandation, so he would be welcomed wherever he went. The family settled in Edinburgh.

The same day, Annelise got pregnant, and gave birth to a beautiful girl named Atria.

In the year 1326, Patrick decided to visit the world. He went on a long journey and reached Jakarta, in Asia : a vibrant, economic city blending asian and occidental cultures, near the sea. The travel did change him, making him stronger than before. Then he came back and was quite happy to find his house and family. A few days later, Patrick had his house stormed down by a hurricane.

A little while after, Annelise got pregnant, and gave birth to a huge baby boy named Pythodoros.

At the age of 72, Patrick invested all his time and energy in his work. Half a year later, Patrick decided to get up early each morning.

At the age of 77, Patrick spent time socializing with people in Edinburgh. He made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). At the same time, Patrick was assaulted by a jealous rival, but drove him away. The same day, Patrick fell in love.

Patrick died after a long agony.
