Yafa Taoh
Yafa Taoh, (-1638, -1562) was a historian in Babylon.
Yafa believed in Folk religion.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. People saw Yafa as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was strong, beautiful, and long lived. She was a determined one, living an independant way of life.
Yafa, 6 years old, was chosen to be the leader of another branch of the family. However, she was too young for now and was raised by a friend of the family.
In the year -1622, Yafa, 16 years old, historian, became the new leader of a new branch of the family.
At the age of 22, Yafa looked for a child to adopt. Yafa found a monstrous looking boy named Dawud left alone. Dawud became part of the family from now on. A few weeks later, Yafa enlisted in a local militia. Half a year later, Yafa had big swings of mood following a depression. Soon after, Yafa fell in love with Poyraz, a beautiful man, 34 years old, a fire keeper. Both married and lived together from now on.
Half a year later, Yafa got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking girl named Yasmin.
At the age of 31, Yafa spent time socializing with people in Babylon. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). At the same time, Yafa began to set a very strict planning of her days.
A few days later, Yafa got pregnant, and gave birth to a very small boy named Simeon.
8 years later, Yafa decided to settle somewhere else. She packed a few possessions and departed for a new place. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave her a recommandation, so she would be welcomed wherever she went. The family settled in Istanbul / Constantinople / Byzantium. A few days later, Yafa had to hold a very ceremonial speech and did well. On the first day of the month after, Yafa was selected for being a jury.
At the same time, Yafa got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking girl named Beletum.
Aged 45, Yafa understood that only the fittest can survive and swore to be the best. The same day, Yafa began gambling, and lost much.
On the next full moon, Yafa got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby boy, but he was weak and died the first night. Yafa got heartbroken.
Aged 50, Yafa spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. Later, Yafa was chased out of Istanbul / Constantinople / Byzantium by a rival. The travel was uneventful, and a little bit boring and long. The family settled in Knossos. Half a year later, Yafa began to wake up late.
Aged 63, Yafa decided to go back to where her family came. She packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place she often talked about. The travel did change her, making her stronger than before. The family settled in Babylon. A few weeks later, Yafa found a good luck charm.
In the year -1562, Yafa wanted to strenghten the family. She took the family treasure : the plans and decided to use it daily so its power diffused into her actions. Having such a treasure everyday boosted a bit little her morale and her will. A few weeks later, Yafa found a special place near Babylon where she spent time to meditate.
Yafa died because of an infection.
