Markunda Babar

Markunda Babar, (274, 366) was a merchant in Tlokwe.

Markunda believed in Shamanism.

She earned enough to live a decent life, but was sometimes a little bit short. She belonged to an influential family that could help in any occasion. Moreover, she was seen as belonging to the low nobility and as such, was somewhat courtised by many people. She was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. She could read and write a little bit. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.

Markunda, 37 years old, executioner, became the new leader of the family.

Aged 45, Markunda did commit suicide by drowning herself. However, the suicide attempt failed. Markunda came back stronger from this experience. At the same time, Markunda was rejected from her community. Soon after, Markunda imagined a story that became famous. Half a year later, Markunda fell in love with Ilozumba, a stunning man, 35 years old, a hunter. Both married and lived together from now on.

On the first day of the month after, Markunda got pregnant, and gave birth to an ugly girl named Makena.

At the age of 53, Markunda decided to enjoy life. She spent everything she earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Danangombe were invited to enjoy life with her, and thus, she made many friends. Half a year later, Markunda was selected for being a jury. On the next full moon, Markunda drew a precise map of her location.

In the year 342, Markunda invested all her time and energy in her work. A few weeks later, Markunda participated at a coup, but failed and had to get away. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave her a recommandation, so she would be welcomed wherever she went. The family settled in Tlokwe. Nine months after, Markunda was told by a priest of Shamanism that the stars promised a good future.

At the age of 74, Markunda spent time socializing with people in Tlokwe. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). Later, Markunda gave some political ideas that were appreciated in her community. Later, Markunda fell in love.

Aged 85, Markunda had an opportunity to change her activity. After some time and some learning, she became merchant. Nine months after, Markunda found an ancient and beautiful sculpture buried in her garden.

At the age of 92, Markunda looked for a child to adopt. Markunda found a monstrous looking boy named Thutmose left alone. Thutmose became part of the family from now on. Nine months after, Markunda found an ancient and beautiful sculpture buried in her garden. A few days later, Markunda mourned the loss of a dear friend.

Markunda died of a heart arrhythmia.
