Lweendo Lezgongue
Lweendo Lezgongue, (-22, 37) was a butcher in Engaruka.
Lweendo believed in Shamanism.
He lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. He was known to have a good technical knowledge of their job and some pieces of general knowledge. He could read and write a little bit. He was strong, beautiful, and long lived. He was known as resolute, with a true entrepreneur spirit.
Lweendo, 35 years old, butcher, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 44, Lweendo spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. A few days later, Lweendo tried hallucinogens. A few weeks later, Lweendo broke an arm. A little while after, Lweendo fell in love with Naserian, an average looking woman, 30 years old, a mosaic artist. Both married and lived together from now on.
At the same time, Naserian got pregnant, and gave birth to a very small girl named Nekesa.
At the age of 59, Lweendo decided to enjoy life. He spent everything he earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Engaruka were invited to enjoy life with him, and thus, he made many friends. Later, Lweendo barely survived an earthquake.
Soon after, Naserian got pregnant, and gave birth to a very small girl named Menhet.
Lweendo died peacefully in his sleep.
