Nekesa Lezgongue
Nekesa Lezgongue, (22, 80) was a butcher in Katsina-Ala.
Nekesa believed in Shamanism.
She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. People saw Nekesa as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was strong, beautiful, and long lived. She was considered strong-willed, a leader at heart.
Nekesa, 15 years old, butcher, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 22, Nekesa decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. A little while after, Nekesa had her ear pierced. A few weeks later, Nekesa sang the beauty of the world.
At the age of 32, Nekesa decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Gondershe, in Africa : a stone city nearby an oasis featuring a large stone citadel towering over the ocean. The travel was fascinating, and she learned many things on the road. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. On the first day of the month after, Nekesa learned about medicinal plants. A few weeks later, Nekesa decided to get up early each morning. Soon after, Nekesa fell in love with Awawa, a stunning man, 39 years old, a butcher. Both married and lived together from now on.
The same day, Nekesa got pregnant, and gave birth to a huge baby boy named Mongo.
Aged 37, Nekesa decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. The same day, Nekesa missed her departed, loved ones.
On the first day of the month after, Nekesa got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby boy, but he was weak and died the first night. Nekesa got heartbroken.
Aged 50, Nekesa decided to settle somewhere else. She packed a few possessions and departed for a new place. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave her a recommandation, so she would be welcomed wherever she went. The family settled in Katsina-Ala. A few weeks later, Nekesa had a nice evening with a personality of Katsina-Ala. The same day, Nekesa adopted a cat.
Aged 58, Nekesa spent time socializing with people in Katsina-Ala. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). Later, Nekesa sheltered some lost animals.
Nekesa died of a heart arrhythmia.
