Wawira Ishaya

Wawira Ishaya, (-1611, -1517) was a prostitute in Tlokwe.

Wawira believed in Shamanism.

She earned enough to live a decent life, but was sometimes a little bit short. She was considered as a worker, belonging to the laborer caste of the society. She had struggles in accessing safe and well payed jobs and businesses. However, she made many friends. People saw Wawira as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health. She was considered strong-willed, a leader at heart.

Wawira, 17 years old, musician, became the new leader of the family.

Aged 27, Wawira looked for a child to adopt. Wawira found a tall boy named Onanojah left alone. Onanojah became part of the family from now on. Half a year later, Wawira became afraid of death. On the first day of the month after, Wawira became violent and people began to fear her.

In the year -1578, Wawira decided to go back to where her family came. She packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place she often talked about. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and she made some business. The family settled in Tlokwe. On the next full moon, Wawira spend a lot of time in nature and developed a very personal philosophy. Soon after, Wawira fell in love with Ejikeme, a charming man, 26 years old, a quarryman. Both married and lived together from now on.

At the same time, Wawira got pregnant, and gave birth to a huge baby girl named Takama.

Aged 38, Wawira had an opportunity to change her activity. After some time and some learning, she became prostitute. On the next full moon, Wawira tried hallucinogens.

Later, Wawira got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby. However, the baby died in the following month for no apparent reason. The whole family was shaken.

In the year -1567, Wawira spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about her beliefs. Later, Wawira was robbed in a street of Tlokwe during a dark night.

The same day, Wawira got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking boy named Teriahi.

13 years later, Wawira spent time socializing with people in Tlokwe. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). Soon after, Wawira began drawing for pleasure.

At the age of 67, Wawira understood that only by helping each other one can truly live. Nine months after, Wawira tried hallucinogens. Half a year later, Wawira had to fight in a war and came back injured.

At the age of 76, Wawira spent time and money for the people that needed help. On the first day of the month after, Wawira found some unclaimed land, and made it her own.

In the year -1530, Wawira spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about her beliefs. Later, Wawira inherited from a friend. Half a year later, Wawira adopted a dog.

At the age of 94, Wawira decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Enkapune Ya Muto, in Africa : a long cave under a rocky hill and over a green savannah. On the road, she had to cross some borders and blend into the natives, hiding her true culture. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. Soon after, Wawira had her ear pierced. Nine months after, Wawira blackmailed a famous figure in Tlokwe to gain influence.

Wawira died of a heart failure.
