Menhet Ishaya

Menhet Ishaya, (-1218, -1166) was a prostitute in Meroe.

Menhet believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.

She was doing well financially. She owned a house and some fine goods with it. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She was of a sophisticated culture, masters a couple of languages, and always curious to understand other cultures. She was vigorous, muscular, and had a near perfect body. She was considered strong-willed, a leader at heart.

Menhet, 21 years old, prostitute, became the new leader of the family.

Aged 34, Menhet looked for a child to adopt. Menhet found an ugly boy named Idder left alone. Idder became part of the family from now on. On the next full moon, Menhet learned about medicinal plants. A few days later, Menhet mourned the loss of a dear friend. A few weeks later, Menhet fell in love with Khabekhnet, a charming man, 34 years old, a mercenary. Both married and lived together from now on.

On the next full moon, Menhet got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking boy named Osorkon.

At the age of 46, Menhet understood that only the fittest can survive and swore to be the best. Later, Menhet began to drink often.

A little while after, Menhet got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby. However, the baby died in the following year by accidental drowning. The whole family was shaken.

6 years later, Menhet decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. A few weeks later, Menhet went through a depression. Soon after, Menhet had a wondrous dream of a infinite ocean.

Menhet died in her bed, with all her friends by her side.
