Shabaka Armen
Shabaka Armen, (1171, 1247) was a merchant in Ife.
Shabaka believed in Shamanism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. He had a refined culture, and was known to read, and sometimes write, for pleasure. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was considered strong-willed, a leader at heart.
Shabaka, 35 years old, merchant, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 50, Shabaka decided to go back to where his family came. He packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place he often talked about. The travel was uneventful, and a little bit boring and long. The family settled in Tlokwe. Half a year later, Shabaka spend some time talking with a traveler. A few days later, Shabaka drew a precise map of his location. On the first day of the month after, Shabaka fell in love with Dayo, an ugly woman, 39 years old, a judge. Both married and lived together from now on.
Nine months after, Dayo got pregnant, and gave birth to an adorable boy named Amasis.
7 years later, Shabaka spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about his beliefs. A few weeks later, Shabaka spend a lot of time in nature and developed a very personal philosophy. A few days later, Shabaka participated at a coup, but failed and had to get away. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave him a recommandation, so he would be welcomed wherever he went. The family settled in Khami.
A few days later, Dayo got pregnant, and gave birth to a huge baby girl named Karimala.
Aged 67, Shabaka spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. A few days later, Shabaka sang the beauty of the world.
9 years later, Shabaka spent time to learn to cook better, and made some various experiments. Not all of the dishes were good, but most weren't bad. Half a year later, Shabaka was chased out of Khami by a rival. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave him a recommandation, so he would be welcomed wherever he went. The family settled in Ife.
Shabaka passed away of old age.
