Jol Cailloux
Jol Cailloux, (-2077, -1986) was a basket maker in Danangombe.
Jol believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. People saw Jol as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health. She was soft-spirited, rejecting any responsability.
Jol, 39 years old, basket maker, became the new leader of the family.
7 years later, Jol looked for a child to adopt. Jol found a tall girl named Emetemedia left alone. Emetemedia became part of the family from now on. On the first day of the month after, Jol became stingy. On the next full moon, Jol had a surge of libido. At the same time, Jol fell in love with Uloho, a monstrous looking man, 25 years old, a servant. Both married and lived together from now on.
Nine months after, Jol got pregnant, and gave birth to an adorable boy named Thutmose.
5 years later, Jol invested time and efforts into a special artistic creation, but it wasn't a success, for she had no enough culture. People made fun of her attempt at creation, and Jol lost courage. A little while after, Jol got the scarlet fever but survived. A few weeks later, Jol was rejected from her community.
12 years later, Jol invested time and efforts into a special craft : a priceless hamper. People admired her for this work and Jol decided to keep it as a family treasure. On the next full moon, Jol saw a shooting star and made a special wish.
11 years later, Jol decided to settle somewhere else. She packed a few possessions and departed for a new place. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave her a recommandation, so she would be welcomed wherever she went. The family settled in Nyambwezi Falls. A few days later, Jol was struggling in earning anything.
6 years later, Jol decided to settle somewhere else. She packed a few possessions and departed for a new place. She got sick during the travel, and barely recovered. The family settled in Danangombe. Nine months after, Jol had nightmares.
At the age of 91, Jol decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Lomekwi, in Africa : a large place of builders and forge workers operating in a series of holes dug in a cliff. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and she made some business. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. A little while after, Jol met a good business partner. Half a year later, Jol became afraid of death.
Jol died after a long agony.
