Markunda Monker
Markunda Monker, (-2490, -2406) was a dancer in Gobero.
Markunda believed in Animism.
She lived a life of poverty. She was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. She was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, she made some friends among it. She had a low knowledge of life, summing up to some technical tricks and tales from Gobero. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was known as resolute, with a true entrepreneur spirit.
Markunda, 13 years old, was chosen to be the new leader of the family. However, she was too young for now and was raised by a friend of the family.
3 years later, Markunda, 16 years old, dancer, became the new leader of the family.
10 years later, Markunda spent time socializing with people in Gobero. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). Soon after, Markunda drove away some wild beasts lurking around her house. Nine months after, Markunda bought some farm animals. A little while after, Markunda fell in love with Mongo, a monstrous looking man, 27 years old, a butcher. Both married and lived together from now on.
A few weeks later, Markunda got pregnant, and gave birth to a beautiful boy named Amasis.
Aged 36, Markunda wanted to marry again, for her heart was big. She began to look for a suitable spouse in Gobero. Markunda fell in love with Hemaka, a charming man, 26 years old, a vagabond. Both married and lived together from now on. On the next full moon, Markunda was invited to a prestigious diner with many influential people.
A little while after, Markunda got pregnant, and gave birth to a monstrous looking girl named Tafsut.
15 years later, Markunda decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Karnak, in Africa : a vast complex of huge egyptian temples and tombs. On the road, she had to cross some borders and blend into the natives, hiding her true culture. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. Later, Markunda became a part-time teacher.
Aged 61, Markunda needed more love in her life and began to flirt around. Markunda had a passionate affair with Uloho, a charming man, 51 years old, a weaver. People around disliked this extramarital affair. Hemaka was heartbroken by this situation and left Markunda and Gobero forever. On the first day of the month after, Markunda adopted a cat. At the same time, Markunda became afraid of death.
8 years later, Markunda decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. Soon after, Markunda became paranoid. Nine months after, Markunda became violent and people began to fear her.
In the year -2416, Markunda invested all her time and energy in her work. The same day, Markunda saw a shooting star and made a special wish.
Aged 84, Markunda invested time and efforts into a special artistic creation, but it wasn't a success, for she had no enough culture. People made fun of her attempt at creation, and Markunda lost courage. On the first day of the month after, Markunda met a good business partner. Nine months after, Markunda was rejected from her community.
Markunda died of a pulmonary edema.
