Zhan Benouz

Zhan Benouz, (564, 629) was a winemaker in Shanghai.

Zhan believed in Catholic.

Financially, she was well under average. She had struggles to meet ends every other week. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She was seen as a true poet, and legends says that she couldn't live without reading and writing. Years after, some of the works Zhan made are still enjoyed and sometimes studied. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.

Zhan, 34 years old, winemaker, became the new leader of the family.

In the year 608, Zhan decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Gobero, in Africa : a hamlet in the middle of a rocky desert. During her travel she were attacked by a group of bandits that took most of her possessions. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. Nine months after, Zhan mortified herself for her sins. A little while after, Zhan gave money to the poor. A little while after, Zhan fell in love with Han, an ugly man, 34 years old, a shepherd. Both married and lived together from now on.

Nine months after, Zhan got pregnant, and gave birth to an ugly girl named Zhan.

She was oppressed by the people in Hanoi for believing in Catholic, but her faith and her will were strenghtened by this trial.

6 years later, Zhan decided to go back to where her family came. She packed a few possessions and departed for a the old place she often talked about. The travel was full of dangers, but by luck nothing happened to her. The family settled in Shanghai. A few weeks later, Zhan bought some new personal things at a fair price.

Aged 55, Zhan wanted to marry again, for her heart was big. She began to look for a suitable spouse in Shanghai. She found the perfect love but her religion forbade her to have more than one spouse. She were despised for this love and had to split, heartbroken. A few days later, Zhan learned a martial art.

She was oppressed by the people in Shanghai for believing in Catholic, and everything was difficult.

Aged 65, Zhan understood that only by helping each other one can truly live. Half a year later, Zhan was blamed for the low quality of her work.

Zhan died of a heart arrhythmia.
