Aged 47, Qalhata had an opportunity to change her activity. After some time and some learning, she became monarch. At the same time, Qalhata was afraid to spend a life devoid of purpose. Soon after, Qalhata was condemned for theft in Naqa. A little while after, Qalhata fell in love with Idder, a charming man, 38 years old, a tales teller. Both married and lived together from now on.

Nine months after, Qalhata got pregnant, and gave birth to a very small girl named Mansa.

At the age of 68, Qalhata decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Enkapune Ya Muto, in Africa : a long cave under a rocky hill and over a green savannah. The travel did change her, making her stronger than before. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. A little while after, Qalhata sold everything she didn't use. A few days later, Qalhata felt unlucky.
