Nekesa Yaroson
Nekesa Yaroson, (729, 805) was a musician in Aksum.
Nekesa believed in Berber religion.
She lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. She was seen as a true poet, and legends says that she couldn't live without reading and writing. Years after, some of the works Nekesa made are still enjoyed and sometimes studied. She was physically powerful, with a perfect body in a perfect health.In the life, she was able to take a few important life-changing decisions.
Nekesa, 11 years old, was chosen to be the new leader of the family. However, she was too young for now and was raised by a friend of the family.
At the age of 16, Nekesa, 16 years old, brick maker, became the new leader of the family.
9 years later, Nekesa wanted to find the love of her live and marry. She began to look for a suitable spouse in Aksum. Nekesa fell in love with Adjatay, a charming man, 20 years old, a jester. Both married and lived together from now on. The same day, Nekesa had to help financially a friend in need. On the first day of the month after, Nekesa spend time to flatter the powerful.
Soon after, Nekesa got pregnant, and gave birth to an adorable girl named Lunja.
10 years later, Nekesa decided to enjoy life. She spent everything she earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Aksum were invited to enjoy life with her, and thus, she made many friends. At the same time, Nekesa began drawing for pleasure.
The same day, Nekesa got pregnant, and gave birth to an adorable boy named Lweendo.
At the age of 45, Nekesa decided to improve her knowledge. She found a mentor that teached her many new useful and wonderful things. A few days later, Nekesa accepted to shelter a travelling family for a few weeks. A little while after, Nekesa decided to get up early each morning.
On the next full moon, Nekesa got pregnant, and gave birth to a beautiful boy named Nedjeh.
5 years later, Nekesa had an opportunity to change her activity. After some time and some learning, she became musician. A few weeks later, Nekesa slept with a lover that broke her heart.
13 years later, Nekesa wanted to marry again, for her heart was big. She began to look for a suitable spouse in Aksum. Nekesa fell in love with Osorkon, a stunning man, 28 years old, a beggar. Both married and lived together from now on. Half a year later, Nekesa gave money to the poor.
In the year 805, Nekesa spent time and money for the people that needed help. On the first day of the month after, Nekesa was disgusted by the politics in Aksum. The same day, Nekesa was blamed for the low quality of her work.
Nekesa died of a heart failure.
