Apunanwu Cailloux

Apunanwu Cailloux, (-1893, -1797) was a leather worker in Danangombe.

Apunanwu believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.

She lived a life of absolute poverty. Eating or sleeping in a safe place was a constant struggle. She was considered as a worker, belonging to the laborer caste of the society. She had struggles in accessing safe and well payed jobs and businesses. However, she made many friends. People saw Apunanwu as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She was considered spiritless, and unable to make a decision.

Apunanwu, 24 years old, leather worker, became the new leader of the family.

11 years later, Apunanwu decided to enjoy life. She spent everything she earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Danangombe were invited to enjoy life with her, and thus, she made many friends. On the first day of the month after, Apunanwu became afraid of death. Half a year later, Apunanwu set herself the goal of being rich.

In the year -1852, Apunanwu decided to enjoy life. She spent everything she earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Danangombe were invited to enjoy life with her, and thus, she made many friends. Half a year later, Apunanwu had the time of her life in a long party that lasted for days.

In the year -1842, Apunanwu spent time and money for the people that needed help. The same day, Apunanwu began to drink often.

In the year -1828, Apunanwu spent time socializing with people in Danangombe. She made some strong friendships (and a couple of enemies). Nine months after, Apunanwu disappeared for a few days, and nobody knew why. Later, Apunanwu was told by a priest of Ancient Egyptian religion that the stars promised a good future.

Aged 71, Apunanwu spent time and wealth to improve her living space. Now it was much more comfortable, and beautiful. On the first day of the month after, Apunanwu slept with a lover that broke her heart. Nine months after, Apunanwu fell in love with Buneb, a monstrous looking man, 23 years old, a bronze smith. Both married and lived together from now on.

In the year -1807, Apunanwu spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about her beliefs. At the same time, Apunanwu saw a shooting star and made a special wish.

In the year -1797, Apunanwu decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Shum Laka, in Africa : a large cave on the top of a mountain, open wide on the tropical forest. During her travel she were attacked by a group of bandits that took most of her possessions. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. A few weeks later, Apunanwu drove away some wild beasts lurking around her house.

Apunanwu died of a heart failure.
