Urhie Doyle
Urhie Doyle, (-1786, -1704) was a tailor in Banganarti.
Urhie believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
He lived mostly in extreme poverty. Simply eating was an issue, most of the days. He belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. People saw Urhie as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which he did for friends. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was known to be lazy, barely waking up in the morning.
Urhie, 9 years old, was chosen to be the new leader of the family. However, he was too young for now and was raised by a friend of the family.
In the year -1770, Urhie, 16 years old, tailor, became the new leader of the family.
In the year -1759, Urhie was not married at the time, but if he were, he would surely have divorced. Nine months after, Urhie was tricked by a confidence man.
At the age of 36, Urhie decided to settle somewhere else. He packed a few possessions and departed for a new place. The travel was uneventful, and a little bit boring and long. The family settled in Engaruka. Nine months after, Urhie protected someone that was chased by authorities.
At the age of 44, Urhie invested time and efforts into a special artistic creation, but it wasn't a success, for he had no enough culture. People made fun of his attempt at creation, and Urhie lost courage. A little while after, Urhie had big swings of mood following a depression. Later, Urhie fell in love with Butemwe, an average looking woman, 36 years old, a latrines keeper. Both married and lived together from now on.
On the first day of the month after, Butemwe got pregnant, and gave birth to an ugly girl named Yoruba.
In the year -1736, Urhie did not love Butemwe anymore and decided to split. Butemwe was expelled from the family. On the next full moon, Urhie was driven away from Engaruka for being different. The departure was sponsored by a local figure that gave him a recommandation, so he would be welcomed wherever he went. The family settled in Samun Dukiya. Later, Urhie got a mysterious, incapaciting disease.
Aged 57, Urhie decided to improve his knowledge. He found a mentor that teached him many new useful and wonderful things. Later, Urhie got betrayed by a business partner and lost trust in others. A few weeks later, Urhie sang the beauty of the world.
In the year -1719, Urhie invested time and efforts into a special craft : a grotesque robe. People admired him for this work and Urhie decided to keep it as a family treasure. The same day, Urhie created a tradition of an annual family meeting.
At the age of 82, Urhie decided to settle somewhere else. He packed a few possessions and departed for a new place. Everywhere he went, he was despised. The family settled in Banganarti. A little while after, Urhie had to hold a very ceremonial speech and did well. A few days later, Urhie became stingy.
Urhie passed away of old age.
