Nedjem Trismigistus
Nedjem Trismigistus, (-2786, -2688) was a builder in Shum Laka.
Nedjem believed in Shamanism.
He lived a life of poverty. He was able to eat and sleep under a shelter, but ended with having no possession at all. He was considered as belonging to the lowest caste. However, he made some friends among it. He had a low knowledge of life, summing up to some technical tricks and tales from Shum Laka. He was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. He was a determined one, living an independant way of life.
Nedjem, 44 years old, builder, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 49, Nedjem wanted to find the love of his live and marry. He began to look for a suitable spouse in Lomekwi. Nedjem fell in love with Ifedimma, an average looking woman, 26 years old, a prostitute. Both married and lived together from now on. Soon after, Nedjem was chased out of Lomekwi by a rival. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and he made some business. The family settled in Booco. On the next full moon, Nedjem found some unclaimed land, and made it his own.
The same day, Ifedimma got pregnant, and gave birth to a beautiful boy named Kaa.
7 years later, Nedjem invested time and efforts into a special craft : a grotesque door. People admired him for this work and Nedjem decided to keep it as a family treasure. Half a year later, Nedjem was tricked by a confidence man.
On the first day of the month after, Ifedimma got pregnant, and gave birth to an ugly girl named Mansa.
In the year -2716, Nedjem decided to enjoy life. He spent everything he earned for the pleasure of the body and the mind. Many people in Booco were invited to enjoy life with him, and thus, he made many friends. The same day, Nedjem participated at a coup, but failed and had to get away. The travel was fascinating, and he learned many things on the road. The family settled in Shum Laka. Nine months after, Nedjem dug a well.
15 years later, Nedjem spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about his beliefs. A little while after, Nedjem made a good business deal. On the next full moon, Nedjem made a good business deal.
In the year -2688, Nedjem invested time and efforts into a special artistic creation, but it wasn't a success, for he had no enough culture. People made fun of his attempt at creation, and Nedjem lost courage. Half a year later, Nedjem fell in love. On the first day of the month after, Nedjem was told by a priest of Shamanism that the stars promised a good future.
Nedjem passed away of old age.
