Menhet Tempest
Menhet Tempest, (14, 94) was a merchant in Tlokwe.
Menhet believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.
She was doing well financially. She owned a house and some fine goods with it. She belonged to the low caste of the society, and had some friends among the servants, beggars and workers. People saw Menhet as cultivated, eager to read and learn when possible, and mastering writing, which she did for friends. She was vigorous, muscular, and had a near perfect body. She had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.
Menhet, 0 years old, was chosen to be the new leader of the family. However, she was too young for now and was raised by a friend of the family.
Aged 16, Menhet, 16 years old, merchant, became the new leader of the family.
Aged 23, Menhet spent time and wealth to improve her living space. Now it was much more comfortable, and beautiful. A few weeks later, Menhet got the scarlet fever but survived. On the next full moon, Menhet barely survived an earthquake.
In the year 51, Menhet invested all her time and energy in her work. Half a year later, Menhet was assaulted by a jealous rival, but drove him away. On the next full moon, Menhet had her faith strenghtened.
In the year 59, Menhet wanted to strenghten the family. She took the family treasure : the ring and decided to use it daily so its power diffused into her actions. Having such a treasure everyday boosted a bit little her morale and her will. At the same time, Menhet had big swings of mood following a depression. A few weeks later, Menhet sold her neighbour to the autorities. A few days later, Menhet fell in love with Djedhor, an average looking man, 29 years old, a jester. Both married and lived together from now on.
The same day, Menhet got pregnant and gave birth to an adorable baby. However, the baby died in the following year by accidental poisoning. The whole family was shaken.
At the age of 60, Menhet invested all her time and energy in her work. A little while after, Menhet slept more. Nine months after, Menhet sold her neighbour to the autorities.
Aged 71, Menhet looked for a child to adopt. Menhet found a very small boy named Amasis left alone. Amasis became part of the family from now on. Half a year later, Menhet became lazy.
9 years later, Menhet invested time and efforts into a special artistic creation, but it wasn't a success, for she had no enough culture. People made fun of her attempt at creation, and Menhet lost courage. Later, Menhet didn't eat well because not much food was available. On the next full moon, Menhet accepted to shelter a travelling family for a few weeks.
Menhet died because of an infection.
