Illi Gadisegil

Illi Gadisegil, (-1862, -1771) was a jeweler in Danangombe.

Illi believed in Ancient Egyptian religion.

She earned enough to live a decent life, but was sometimes a little bit short. She was rather respected though seen as belonging to the middle class. However, he could access to many opportunities. She was seen as a true poet, and legends says that she couldn't live without reading and writing. Years after, some of the works Illi made are still enjoyed and sometimes studied. She was force of nature, and people saw in their body and beauty the incarnation of a god. She had an unbending mind, always reaching their goal.

Illi, 32 years old, jeweler, became the new leader of the family.

At the age of 44, Illi decided to visit the world. She went on a long journey and reached Sidubu Cave, in Africa : a deep vertical hole in a mountain holding a few settlements. The travel was the occasion to do some merchandise dealing, and she made some business. Then she came back and was quite happy to find her house and family. A few weeks later, Illi drew a precise map of her location. At the same time, Illi got drunk and did thinqs she had regrets for all her life.

Aged 56, Illi wanted to find the love of her live and marry. She began to look for a suitable spouse in Danangombe. Illi fell in love with Gwafa, a stunning man, 23 years old, a musician. Both married and lived together from now on. A few weeks later, Illi created a garden.

15 years later, Illi wanted to strenghten the family. She took the family treasure : the lute and decided to use it daily so its power diffused into her actions. Having such a treasure everyday boosted a bit little her morale and her will. A little while after, Illi learned a martial art.

8 years later, Illi spent time and wealth to improve her living space. Now it was much more comfortable, and beautiful. The same day, Illi broke an arm.

In the year -1771, Illi spent a lot of time thinking and meditating about her beliefs. Nine months after, Illi had her house burned in an accident.

Illi died of a stroke.
